After many months of gathering documentation regarding the ownership status of Spirit from previous owners as well as aquiring other related documents, I received confirmation today from the Gibraltar Registry that they have accepted my application for registration of my vessel.
Now that right of ownership has been fully established, Spirit will finally be registered in Gibraltar and fly a Gibraltar Red Ensign. This is the equivalent of a Part I Registration. Further, she will be issued an international call sign and her EPIRBs will be registered as well.
It has been a long haul.
